Centre for International Voluntary Service (CVS) is an International, voluntary, non-governmental, not for profit organization based in Kenya that provide intercultural exchange opportunities to help people develop the knowledge skills and understating for a better world.
Our activities involve deploying volunteers from all over the world to work with local communities on a variety of projects where they assist in capacity enhancement through specialist and non specialist tasks. Volunteers need to be available either for 3 weeks for our workcamps programme, or for 2 months to 1 year for our medium and long term programmes throughout the year.
Projects include supporting the development of local charities, teaching in primary and High schools and working in orphanages and children’s homes among others
